A Mitzvah in Action: Jack Haller Supports ElderCare Seniors

We are excited to share a heartwarming example of youth leadership in our community!

As part of his Bar Mitzvah, Jack Haller chose ElderCare of Alachua County for his mitzvah (Good Deed) project, donating nearly 100 pounds of non-perishable food to our Senior Recreation Center’s pantry. Jack’s generosity is helping us serve seniors facing food insecurity, ensuring they have access to nutritious meals and the support they need.

This impactful donation directly advances our mission to promote independence and enrich the quality of life for older adults in Alachua County. We are grateful for Jack’s kindness, leadership, and commitment to making a meaningful difference for seniors in our community.

Thank you, Jack, for showing how one good deed can have a lasting impact!
