Elder Options proudly presents our comprehensive Savvy Caregiver Program, a testament to our commitment to empowering those caring for individuals with dementia. This no-cost, evidence-based, seven-week series is designed to refine your caregiving skills, reduce stress, and improve your caregiving experience.
Join us each Thursday from April 10th to May 22nd, between 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, as we delve into essential topics such as:
- Understanding the nuances of dementia
- Expertly navigating the challenges of cognitive loss
- Emphasizing caregiver self-care for sustained resilience
- Skillfully managing behavioral changes with empathy
- Crafting engaging activities for individuals with dementia
- Recognizing progression stages and adapting care techniques
Our sessions will convene at the UF Health Urgent Care – Eastside (457 SE 20th St, Gainesville, FL 32641), where knowledge and community support go hand in hand.
