Honoring the UF Medical Guild for Their Incredible Support!

ElderCare of Alachua County is proud to recognize the UF Medical Guild for awarding Al’z Place a Special Project Grant. This generous contribution has allowed us to introduce therapeutic seating designed to enhance comfort, safety, and overall well-being for the adult day care clients we serve, particularly those living with memory impairments.

To celebrate this partnership, a Certificate of Appreciation plaque has been prominently displayed at Al’z Place for all visitors to see—a lasting tribute to the Guild’s commitment to improving the lives of seniors in our community.

This upgrade goes far beyond new seating. It represents a meaningful step forward in our mission to combat isolation, reduce physical strain, and promote joyful, dignified aging. By improving comfort and accessibility, our clients can more fully engage in therapeutic crafts, reminiscence, validation therapy, and other daily wellness activities that enrich their lives.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the UF Medical Guild for their ongoing support and dedication to creating a more inclusive, compassionate, and engaging environment for our seniors.
