Improving Life Skills through Improv

The basic techniques of Improv (improvisation) offer more than fun! Improv heightens focus, the art of listening, and the imagination. This program will guide participants to develop greater mental alertness, assist in holding memories, and allow a time for laughter. Each class session, taught by Karelisa Hartigan, will follow a basic format: warm-up exercises, improvised scenes, and closing exercises. Improv is a type of education, as it encourages participants to learn new skills.
