Nutrition Class: ‘Cooking Well for all Ages’

The class explores nutrition updates, cooking skills, new flavors and techniques, and creative ways to prepare healthy meals with experienced scientists and culinary experts. This week’s topic is “Food Labels: How to Make Smart Choices and Purchases,” including introduction to instructors, understanding why older adults are at risk for malnutrition, and how to interpret food labels. The class meets every second Friday at 12:00 PM and is presented in partnership with the University of Florida Health Outcomes and Biomedical Informatics program and Cooking Well.
