ElderCare of Alachua County is a grant- and donation-funded agency that provides home and community based services for the elderly. Services are available to anyone aged 60 or older living in Alachua County.
Adult Day Care

Provides adult day care for people age 18+ with Alzheimer’s disease or severe memory impairment.

Meals on Wheels
Offering congregate meal sites and home-delivered meals for seniors.

Senior Recreation Center
Dedicated center where seniors can socialize, access services, participate in fun and educational activities, and stay engaged with their peers.

Person-centered assistance provided in the community.
VISION
Independence with Low Vision
Provides training for adults and seniors who have experienced severe vision loss or blindness.

This initiative provides seniors aged 60 and older with affordable, low-cost, on-demand rides to help you get where you need to go within the city of Gainesville.
