The University of Florida Vestibular Sciences and Balance Lab is looking for volunteers from our community to participate in an important research study exploring how aging affects the inner ear balance system.

This study helps researchers better understand how hearing and balance work together as we age—and your participation can help advance important health knowledge.

Who Can Participate?

You may be eligible if you:

• Are between the ages of 50–70

• Have no history of ear disorders, balance disorders, neurological disorders, or systemic disease.

What Does Participation Involve?

Participants will complete one study visit that includes:

• A hearing test

• An inner ear balance assessment

• A balance test

The visit takes place at the UF Vestibular Sciences and Balance Lab.

Participant Appreciation

Participants will receive a $50 Amazon gift card upon completion of the study.
